Samuel Cipers is PhD Researcher at Brussels School of Governance’s Centre for Digitalisation, Democracy and Innovation (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and the Department of Political Science at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on establishing a critical framework to study the European Union’s response to online disinformation and populist discourse on- and offline by using poststructuralist discourse analysis and other critical frameworks.
